Hinchinbrook Shire Council CEO induction with LGMS
LGMS and LGAQ enjoyed meeting with Kelvin Tytherleigh, Hinchinbrook Shire Council's new CEO for his briefing which is part of the LGAQ CEO Induction Program, an initiative of LGAQ's Member Support and Engagement Team.
Brett Johnson and Rachael Lindsay from LGAQ had an opportunity to speak to Kelvin about the LGMS schemes and the unrivalled value they provide to member Councils. They presented data specific to Hinchinbrook Shire Council to demonstrate key highlights and how recent scheme initiatives can assist them.
LGMS exists for the sole purpose of enabling Queensland local government to proactively manage its liability, asset and workers compensation exposures whilst simultaneously ensuring ongoing stability and sustainability of costs over the long term.
