Central Coast Safety Forum

On 21 April the LGW team had the opportunity to attend the Central Coast Safety Forum hosted by Banana Shire Council.  The Central Coast Safety Forum is an opportunity for our LGW member Councils to get together with like-minded safety professionals to discuss health and wellbeing activities, see and share presentations from other Councils and receive an update on LGW mutual scheme initiatives from LGW WHS Consultant, Pauline Health. 

At this meeting member Councils discussed creating an online virtual information sharing portal whereby they could get in touch with their peers to ask questions or troubleshoot any safety issues they may have.  It is also a great opportunity for our Councils to network and share ideas over dinner at the end of the day.

The event had attendees from Mackay Regional, Banana Shire, Gladstone Regional, Livingstone Shrie, Rockhampton Regional, Isaac Regional and Central Hightlands Regional Councils.
