Isaac Regional Council - Central Queensland winner of the 2023 Risk Excellence Award

Mayor Anne Baker of Isaac Regional Council proudly accepted the 2023 LGMS Risk Excellence Award for the Central Queensland district at the Local Government Association of Queensland 2023 Annual Conference in Gladstone last month.

Congratulations to the council, and the whole team, for their award-winning insurance guideline, developed to articulate the Council’s commitment to risk management.  This guideline documents the linkage between Council’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework and insurance, as one method (but not the only means) of mitigating risk.
