Introducing new LGM Board Member
LGMS welcomes Anne Lenz to the LGM Board of Management as the appointed member and representative from Brisbane City Council.
Anne has over 20 years’ experience in state and local government and is currently Divisional Manager, Organisational Services at Brisbane City Council. In this role she is accountable for the provision of corporate services such as payroll, recruitment, IT, finance and procurement.
Prior to her current role at Brisbane City Council, Anne led the Compliance and Regulatory Services branch, responsible for the regulation of a diverse array of functions ranging from the built environment, environmental health and natural environment, to animal management, amenity and parking.
Anne has also held a number of leadership positions with various responsibilities from underground coal gasification policy, to the management of abandoned sites and environmental regulation of the coal seam gas sector. She also for many years had oversight of the continuous improvement of the compliance framework for environmental regulation in Queensland.
She has a passion for compliance and regulation focusing on how data and intelligence can drive resource allocation to adequately identify and reduce risk.
The LGM Board of Management looks forward to working alongside Anne to achieve its strategy and objectives for the mutual schemes.
