LGMS Risk Excellence Award Winners - Longreach Regional Council

Congratulations to Longreach Regional Council on their LGMS Risk Excellence Award win at the Local Government Association of Queensland Annual Conference.

Longreach utilised a risk-based approach to their COVID-19 response. They documented their learnings through reviews and updating their risk registers and business continuity plan in accordance with their risk management framework.

Mayor Tony Rayner and CEO Mitchell Murphy proudly accepted the award on behalf of their Council.
